I've never tried the McRib sandwich, but since it's sold under the golden arches, I have to assume there's a good chance that it's pretty terrible. But that's not really the point. The point is this idiotic ad:
I'm not an expert in the field of marketing, but I'm pretty sure it's a bad idea to ridicule the person who loves your product.
Also, as a former 14-year-old, I can say that the behavior exhibited by this man is oretty much the opposite of a 14-year-old. No 14year old boy is going to worry about missing out on a sandwich when he is about to embark on a week of crazy newlywed sexy fun times. This man is considering choosing what i assume he considers "sustenance" over the fleeting joy of a seven-day six-night intercourse-a-thon. That is remarkably mature, although the fact that he has just married the most annoying woman in the world may have contributed to the decision-making process.
At any rate, what aspect of this commercial is supposed to make people want to purchase a McRib? Because I seem to have missed that part.
