First, I couldn't finish the video (and this is WHY I refuse to watch FOX anything)...it pissed me off so bad I wanted to punch out my computer screen.
But, here is the M.O of FOX and the Republican Party. Their audience does not read, certainly does not delve too deeply into history, and has lousy memories...plus...THEY LISTEN TO FOX NEWS. So, the mantra is just say any shit you want and you aren't going to be called on it by them that wants to hear what they want to hear.
The history you point out here, does not exist...in FOXland. Not to mention that they think hypocrite is one them there Zoo thing animules. Morans indeed!
