We went to the Kirkwood Spring Fling today and saw Blair Crimmins & the Hookers and Noot d' Noot for free. We also caught the last couple songs from the Deadfields.
All good! I would go and see any of them, especially the Deadfields.
We went to a free show on Friday night, a taping for the local PBS affiliate (and they serves free beer and vodka drinks). It was Bill Carter, who wrote the song "Crossfire" that was made famous by Stevie Ray Vaughan, and he's got a lot of other song gems too, plus some great guitarists.
