I used to admire Alan Dershowitz until he wrote that article giving legal justifications for U.S. torture. Then I lost all respect for him. I have no sympathy for him with these allegations either.
Dershowitz argued eloquently for free speech in the '80s, but since then, he's been about nothing but publicity. To borrow a 25-year-old joke from The Sporting News, didn't he use to be Alan Dershowitz?
