A piece of my childhood just died.






Lon Simmons, beloved Bay Area sportscaster, dead at 91

I spent many an afternoon and evening listening to Lon Simmons call Giants and 49er games on the radio. 

Rest in peace, Lon.

RIP; and just as the season gets under way too...

4/13/09 - our beloved harry kalas passed in the broadcast booth at the washington nationals stadium. I still miss his voice.
