a GREAT PA tune, even though it has to do with the hotel pennsylvania in NYC.
for NJ, how about this one? it means something to those of us in philly who go "downashore" in the summer. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KIRFqQfa1tw
oooooh, I just thought of one for vermont: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nykyl7CIJkw
Moonlight in Vermont! How did I miss that one?
Bee Gees MASSACHUSETTS
Crosby Stills Nash & Young OHIO
Lynyrd Skynyrd SWEET HOME ALABAMA
I was going to mention TENNESSEE BIRD WALK, but I see you already have TENNESSEE STUD, so that state's already taken ...
Four Seasons NEW MEXICAN ROSE(???)
Dan Seals & Marie Osmond MEET ME IN MONTANA
I can think of numerous California, Georgia, Indiana, Arizona, Mississippi, Kentucky, and New York songs.
You should have done cities---although that category would quickly become overwhelming and quite inundating.
I already have Ohio and Alabama and I limited myself to one per state. Otherwise I could have a million just for Tennessee. Tennessee Waltz, Tennessee Jed, Memphis, Tennessee, etc.
New Mexico Rose and Maddachussets, though I can add.I don't think I have one for either.
I was glad to see my home state, Florida with my man, Muddy Waters. Deep Down in Florida - one of my favorites.
I was actually surprised that my banishment state, Nebraskaberia, had anything other than a football theme.
Kansas City Blues, by Jim Jackson in 1927.
And Johnny Cash, New Mexico. Somehow it fits.
A more recent blues singer, in Iowa, Matt Woods, Tired & Dirty. Another surprise...for me, that is.
Thrush Hermit - North Dakota Sweet Homewrecker (imagine ...a homewrecker...and a sweet one to boot). Although, looking at Thrush, et al, I'm thinking they're a little young to have ever been homewrecked.
All of these are on YouTube (yeah, I'm lazy).
