Oh, My God! They Exploited Kenny! (You Bastards!)

A young man named Kenneth Gladney is being held up as a martyr by the anti-healthcare folks because he was supposedly "beaten and kicked by union thugs" at a town hall meeting.

Stomping and kicking black conservatives–
wheelchair
Although he was too weak to speak after his beating on Thursday, black conservative Kenneth Gladney attended the SEIU rally. Kenneth was beaten, kicked and called racist names by Russ Carnahan’s SEIU supporters after a town hall meeting on Thursday.

This would be a really sad story if it were, um you know, what's the word, um, TRUE!

Here, via Sadly, No! is video of the incident. You can see Kenny fall down, get back up, and confront someone about "Why did you hit my hand?" He's obviously fine in the video, but now he's being paraded around in a wheelchair. Pathetic!

But that's not the funny part.

A bunch of teabagger idiots showed up to protest at the local SEIU offices. The offices were closed. They protested anyway.

On Saturday, Gladney sat in a wheelchair, his knee bandaged, holding a flag that read: “Don’t Tread on Me.” Others who gathered at the union offices held signs with a slightly different version of the message: “Don’t Tread on Kenny.”

The union offices weren’t open, and the union didn’t send members to attend. The Associated Press

But that's not the funny part.

Here's the funny part:

[Gladney's lawyer] Brown finished by telling the crowd that Gladney is accepting donations toward his medical expenses. Gladney told reporters he was recently laid off and has no health insurance.

That's right, even if your injuries are totally fake, you still get a bill from the Emergency Room where you went to give your fake injuries the veneer of non-fakeness. And the new poster boy for leaving corrupt, greedy insurance companies in charge of our health care? H doesn't have insurance, and is reduced to BEGGING STRANGERS for money to pay his medical bills!

See, this would never happen in Canada, Or England, or France, or Germany, or Japan, or Sweden, or The Netherlands, or pretty much any civilized country but the good old U.S. of A. Uh-oh. I think I just made it not funny anymore!

Baby Glutton: What the Hell?

When I first saw the news item, I thought the doll was kinda creepy:

Spanish toy manufacturer, Berjuan, has introduced Bebe Gloton, purportedly the first-ever breast-feeding doll, for children to enjoy (and for toy stores to display next to the bottle-feeding babies). Translated Baby Glutton, it comes with a snazzy halter top for the doll's owner to wear. The top is adorned with two daisies, strategically designed to fall over the nipples. "When the doll is lifted near the flowers it makes sucking sounds," according to ParentDish. Voila! You're nursing!

But nowhere near as creepy as the reaction from the yahoos at FOX

AARP walks out on the morons

Today in my e-mail, I received an ACTION ALERT! about the AARP.

AARP officials walk out of meeting, refuse questions concerning ObamaCare from angry seniors

Watch this must-see video! AARP supports government controlled health care!

Now I wasn't sure why this would require action on my part. AARP officials exercising common sense and walking away from the shouting imbeciles who disrupt these kinds of meetings seems like a reasonable response. So I clicked on the link to view the incriminating video. Watch the video.

What I saw was AARP representatives getting fed up with being interrupted and shouted down by mouth-foaming morons and deciding to stop wasting everyone's time and just leave. Of course, the video is heavily edited to try and make the lunatics look like reasonable people who were just trying to get answers about healthcare, but they still come off as the raving ass-clowns that they are.

When one of these idiots shouts that the healthcare bill is not about healthcare, it's about our basic freedoms being taken away, the rest of the idot patrol cheers as if he's made some sort of reasonable point. If i was the AARP lady, I would have walked out a long time before she did.

Of course, here's how the American Family association portrays it:

Senior citizens who went to a meeting sponsored by AARP were left to themselves after the AARP hostess walked out. The seniors were trying to get answers concerning ObamaCare and why AARP would support a government controlled health system that many believe would lead to euthanasia and rationing of health care.

Now the only reason that anyone believes ridiculous ideas like the healthcare bill leading to euthanasia is because of scumbags like the AFA spreading these blatant falsehoods, but that appears to be beside the point.

Why would AARP, the nation's largest seniors group, supposedly working for the elderly, support an ObamaCare bill? Here is what Dick Morris, former advisor to President Clinton, said: "The interest groups that usually speak up for the elderly, particularly AARP, are in Obama's pocket, hoping to profit from his program by becoming one of its vendors. Just as they backed Bush's prescription drug plan because they anticipated profiting from it, so they are now helping Obama gut the medical care of their constituents."

So that's the answer! A ridiculous pile of bullshit from ridiculous bullshitter Dick Morris! Of course, I should have seen it all along! Obviously, the AARP is poised to become one of the vendors for healthcare, because, um. . . .they sell pills? or something? Under "Obamacare," patients would be sent to AARP offices instead of hospitals for their mandatory assisted suicides, I guess? How the fuck do these people actually believe this surreally absurd claptrap?

And by the way, members of AARP are already on a "government-run healthcare system," they're on Medicare.

So, anyway, the AFA provides a link to send an e-mail to the AARP Send your e-mail to AARP.

It sure would be a shame if people were to use this link to thank the AARP for supporting healthcare reform. Yep, sure would be a shame.

Another Unsolicited Testimonial!

Hi, folks. William Jefferson here. When I'm not busy fighting corruption charges or hiding 90 grand in my freezer, I like to read The Daily Irritant.
